Arlington Heights, IL – March 10, 2026 – Weber Packaging Solutions, part of the Weber Global Group, has acquired AT Information Products (ATIP), a North American leader in Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) coding systems and master distributor of Markoprint inkjet technologies.

The acquisition strengthens Weber’s position in integrated labeling, coding, and direct-to-product industrial inkjet printing solutions for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging across food, beverage, pharmaceutical, building products, and industrial markets. Founded more than 38 years ago, ATIP built a strong distribution network throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada, specializing in high-resolution variable data printing applications such as date coding, lot and batch numbering, case coding, and large-character marking.

With growing demand for low-maintenance, cartridge-based coding systems that reduce solvent handling and downtime, TIJ technology continues to gain momentum. The addition of ATIP enhances Weber’s ability to integrate both thermal and piezo industrial inkjet technologies into label applicators, print-and-apply systems, and standalone packaging components.

“This is a natural fit for both companies,” said Harrison Chien, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Weber Packaging Solutions. “Together, we can deliver more tightly integrated coding and labeling platforms to OEMs and end users.”

ATIP will continue operating from Mahwah, New Jersey. Roger Angrick will remain with the organization as Head of Sales for Weber’s Inkjet Division, ensuring continuity for customers and distributors.
